Breast Cancer Survivor Alvaran – 12 Years in Remission

Ms. Alvaran underwent modified radical mastectomy in 2007 by another surgeon.  She came to me thereafter for opinion whether she needed chemotherapy which was being recommended by a medical oncologist.  I presented to her all the different options and pros and cons.  She decided not to have chemotherapy, just hormonal therapy.

She is very happy with her decision.  She has been under my medical supervision after the her operation.  She is now 12 years in remission as of February 14, 2019.  We both thank God for this long remission.  She asked me to include her in my cancer survivor registry to give inspiration to others.
