Breast Cancer Survivor Priscilla Calimon – 10 Years in Remission

Ms. Priscilla Calimon was 46 years old when I did a subtotal mastectomy on her breast cancer in March 2007.  The histopathology report showed invasive ductal carcinoma, 2 cm.  She chose and decided on the option of subtotal mastectomy with no additional treatment thereafter, just surveillance using symptom-sign-directed approach with regular clinical examination and diagnostic tests as needed.

She visited me July 8, 2017.  She is now 56 years old, 10 years in remission.  We both thank God for this long remission.
