One reason why you should have and keep your medical record!

AJ, a 65-year-old female, is about to migrate to the United States.  She was asked to produce a medical record of her previous operation, a breast cancer operation, which was done 25 years old.  I was the one who did the operation  Fortunately, I still have her records.   What if I don’t have her records anymore?  She will have a problem producing one.  She will have to go to the Philippine General Hospital for the record of her operation and histopathology.  You can just imagine the hassle she will go through to get a copy of her medical records.
